| I upgraded to Windows 10 and also upgraded S+ to the latest 64 signed version because 10 was giving me error message about the help xml. Now I need a way to load my previous settings and gesture without me manually having to do it all over again which took me near a year to get it just how I wanted it. I tried to copy me lua, xml, and help files to no avail. I also checked the forums and the web for insight again to no avail. Help me out once again Rob or anyone with the knowledge. Thanks. |

The first step is to find out where your current settings/files are being loaded from. Have you checked here?
C:\Users\{USERNAME}\AppData\Roaming\StrokesPlus
You can also use Process Monitor to see what files S+ is accessing to know exactly where it's loading them from. |

| That should be only displaying once, unless S+ is having an issue writing to StrokesPlus.xml. The setting is in that file, named SawWin8LauncherMessage; set to 1 to disable the message. |

| I'm not having that issue. I just reset it to 0, started S+, saw message, checked file, setting updated. Rebooted and no message. Do you have any sort of file syncing service that may be pulling down the file without the setting updated? The only thing I can think of. |

| No file syncing. I only started having problems with S+ when I "upgraded" to this damn Win10. I'm not sure how to set SawWin8LauncherMessage to 0? |

| I thought it was fixed, however after setting SawWin8LauncherMessage to 1 the gestures started acting strange and some of the gestures stopped working all together. Could I just delete that line of code? |

| It sounds like something is messed up in your file. There's no easy way for me to help you fix it, but I'd say start by copying/pasting the contents of your entire StrokesPlus.xml to something like XML Validator and start narrowing down the problem. |
