I created a 'Global Action' to close an application

acCloseApplication(nil, gsx, gsy) --sample uses the gesture start coordinates (gsx and gsy)

It seems to work perfectly in all app except for MS OneNote 2016, where it causes the application to crash.

Any thoughts on resolution?

I don't use OneNote, but you may try sending ALT+F4 if the app is OneNote. Or some other sequence that closes OneNote if you take the steps manually.
