Hi together,

StrokesPlus is an impressive tool, i use it under Win7 64-bit. Thank you creating it!

I have a - hopefully - quite simple question regarding the basic concept of StrokesPlus: I want to use it to provide mouse gesture functionality to Chrome only, without affecting any other apps.
Is there any way to only "whitelist" select applications like Chrome, and disable StrokesPlus functionality for everything else, including the Windows desktop and Explorer? I just seem to find "blacklisting" functionality for single programs, not the possibility to restrict StrokePlus to certain applications and disable it everywhere else.

Please point me in the right direction. Is such a behavior possible?

Kind regards,
test0nger

Sure, just create a Chrome app with your Chrome actions and delete all of the Global actions and other apps.

If you don't want S+ to even capture the mouse anywhere but in Chrome, delete all Ignored apps except one, clear out all the fields, and paste this into File Pattern:
^((?!chrome.exe).)*$
You could could also add to this whitelist if you wanted to add another app:
^((?!(chrome.exe|calc.exe)).)*$
..or add yet another:
^((?!(chrome.exe|calc.exe|notepad.exe)).)*$

For those reading this post in the future, version 2.7.0 added a preference [Only Capture On Defined Applications (no Global Actions)] to switch S+ into a white list mode.

With that option enabled, S+ won't even capture the mouse in non-defined app windows.
