That is very odd behavior. I am running Windows 8.1 as well and have never had that happen. Would you mind sending me you StrokesPlus.xml so I can see if there's something in there which is causing it to happen?

Probability of browser appears relatively high, especially Chrome + notepad2

Disable StrokesPlus to no avail, must exit StrokesPlus to normal

Can you provide a list of all programs running in Task Manager? There's no behavior in S+ that should cause this, so I wonder if there's some strange interaction between S+ and another program/utility.

Today, uninstall the original version, use the Portable version, now normal! Further, a few days later the report again
