Did you know...
You can specify the maximum length S+ will display while drawing a gesture. There is a setting in StrokesPlus.xml named "MaxDrawPoints" which is, by default, set to 0 (meaning unlimited). If you set this to a number greater than 0, S+ will only display the number of points specified while drawing gestures.
It doesn't affect the actual gesture length or anything else, just how much of the line S+ draws. It's hard to explain, but imagine that you set it to 50, then started drawing a big O (circle) on the screen, after the line was 50 points long, the line would not get longer. The last point would be erased as a new point was drawn, like you were dragging a string behind the cursor which was only so long.
It's a purely cosmetic setting and probably not particularly useful, but it's there if you prefer to use it. Setting it to a negative number will probably cause S+ to crash...let me test that.

Nope! But setting it to 1 or 2 doesn't work out so well. I'll update that in 1.1.8, to force it to 3 if < 3 and > 0, as well as set to 0 if < 0.
Note that a setting of 3 only displays a single segment and looks pretty crappy. |
