I've crawled these forums and the web for the better part of a year trying to figure out why s+ disables itself whenever I enter any instance of Visual Studio (2008, 2015, 2017)

Being a code monkey this really disappoints me as i loved using it in Visual studio (yea it used to work)

Ive read through such threads that state it might be a privilege issue:
https://www.strokesplus.com/forum/topic/924/windows-81-update-problems

So I've been sure to make sure s+ is running as admin, and VS is not.

Anyone else have this issue and solved it? Have any ideas? I'm desperate to get it working again.
thanks

Send me your StrokesPlus.xml file, or post it somewhere.

It pretty much has to be something in the ignored section.

Thanks Rob, you pointed me in the right direction... Previously my shortcut to s+ was using a parameter to point to a central xml file location (so i could load the same config from wherever), reinstalling i never replaced that parameter and frankly seems i didn't have a local xml file at all... which leads to even more questions, but anyway I'm very happy things now work.

It defaults to the AppData folder, e.g. C:\Users\{USERNAME}\AppData\Roaming\StrokesPlus\StrokesPlus.xml
