If you select pure white (255,255,255), S+ will change it to a touch less than pure (255,255,254). This is because the gesture drawing window is pure white and has that as its transparency key, meaning anything pure white will be clear, so you can't have pure white as the stroke color or it will just draw a completely transparent line.
