Ever since the new fix (for the transparent window that used to have to be on top in XP), the "acDisplayText" command won't display its text any more. When I check the experimental "on top" option, it is displayed again as it should. So apparently the text is drawn on the same transparent "window" as the gesture stroke.
Perhaps the text command should call the transparent window to the front as well (just as the gesture stroke)? That may cause a bit of a lag for people on low-end computers if the text is still displayed when the next gesture is drawn, but most people probably won't use it that way. And compromises have to be made sometimes.
