Is there a way to get window style information? If not, I'd like to request such a function. Specifically, I need to know if a window is visible or not.
Here's what I'm trying to do: Toggle a tool window (open/closed) in an app. When I close the tool window, it is actually just hidden. The window handle still exists, and it has the same dimensions, and same transparency.
A function that returns the DWORD for a window's style would be sufficient.
It's a little verbose, being a demo script, but you should be able to glean what you're looking for from it (just check the path to Notepad I used and make sure it's not matching on any other window that has "notepad" in the title, it was a quick regex match)
