There are many excellent configuration files (StrokesPlus.xml) on the internet. For most users, the only thing they need to do is to choose a favorite config and learn to use it.
I think it's better if put config files on open source host, such as github.com, etc,. Then StrokePlus can retrieve the list and download prefered config file, just like a marketplace.
And, I think it's better not modifying the stroke config for the regular user. The open sourced config can keep updated. If a end-user wants to add a stroke, he can create a new custom config, StrokePlus can load all the config files and combine them into runtime.
I think this would make StrokePlus more easy-using, isn't it? |

I agree with you 100%! There are many changes that could be made which would greatly improve usability, especially for novice users. It always comes down to the amount of development and maintenance time required for an application that is free
I certainly think is a great idea, however, and will move it to the Requests forum. |
