hello,
I just started using S+ with my Wacom tablet, and I have an issue where my right-clicks (which are performed by pressing a button while the pen is above but not touching the tablet) sometimes trigger random gestures. It would be nice to have a configurable minimum distance/size before gestures are recognized. I think an easy way to implement this is to not display/start the gesture input/drawing part until the mouse has traveled a certain distance after the trigger button is down.
thanks, Phong |

Try increasing the Min. Segment Length in Preferences, I believe that will have a similar result. |

Thanks for the quick response. It sort of works, but at the value that I need to prevent "false alarms", it makes the gestures very crude/low-res. I suppose it's a good quick-fix, but it's not quite the same as the original request, since I'm guessing this will affect recognition of gestures with tight curves. |

It technically can for very sharp twists. Otherwise it's fine since the code interpolates (smooths out, adding points between segments as though it's smooth) the overall gesture before attempting to recognize and match...it just looks crude while drawing. I'll leave this request open. |

BTW, yea, I've fixed the "px" label for the new preference on the dialog, so it will be better aligned in the next release :) |
