Hi,

I need to create a gesture that will open the default virtual keyboard from windows.
Can this be done?
Now I have windows 8.1, but I'll use this command in win7 and win xp.

acShellExecute("open", "C:\\windows\\system32\\osk.exe", "", "", 1) --sample opens the Windows folder

Hi, I have a question.

For Show Touch Keyboard:
acShellExecute("open", "C:\\program files\\common files\\microsoft shared\\ink\\tabtip.exe", "", "", 1)

I have two Monitors(Display), 2nd monitor is touch screen.
The command show keyboard on 1st monitor in first run, even I run the mouse gesture in 2nd.
How can run command in correct monitor or even only in 2nd?

thank you thank you thank you

my question...can you give me a script to close the win8.1 virtual keyboard? The above script lets me open it but I hate closing it with the X in the right corner...
thanks again.
Phillip

I can't really find a way to communicate with the virtual keyboard; it seems Microsoft has it on lock-down or something where it doesn't respond to normal window commands..

Yashar Bahman the author of TouchMe (Windows 8.1 gesture app) had a finger swipe that could close the virtual keyboard. Please check out it on Windows app store it is awesome for finger control on a Surface. I sent him an email asking what command would close the virtual keyboard so I could make StrokePlus do the same thing via pen gesture. He told me it was complicated but he wrote me an exe file that works perfectly! He probably wrote in an evil virus but now I can swipe up the virtual keyboard, type will my finger or pen, and swipe the keyboard away. Thanks Yashar! I will ask him if I can post a link to the file... if you guys want it.

Here is a link to his exe file. http://www.yasharbahman.com/TouchMe/Tools/CloseVirtualKeyboard.exe

Here is a link to his TouchMe finger gesture app. I highly recommend both. http://apps.microsoft.com/windows/en-us/app/touchme-gesture-studio/740d3578-ddb4-4f74-b489-5a3782cb7607
